Avoiding a deep hole during a rainstorm on a Jeep ride.

Ran a muddy one out in Giles County today—took the Jeep trail between Mountain Lake and the Fire Tower. Definitely not a casual drive… 4WD is a must, and those ruts are no joke. A lift helps unless you enjoy testing your clearance the hard way

The water holes were deep too. Not quite snorkel territory... but they were deep enough to get your attention before dropping in.


Took a little hit to the passenger side step dodging a mud hole (tree won that round), but that’s part of the deal on trails like this.

We had 6 Jeeps in the group and everyone had a great time—good mix of mud, challenge, and laughs.
